I have finally found my mission in life - to locate and document as many compass roses as I can.
(For the record, a compass rose is a design which is often found on a map to indicate directions - as shown above.)
But seriously, in my travels I have been noticing the presence of compass roses, mostly in parks.
My searching of the Internet provided no website which was devoted to them as such, so I amazingly found a niche.
